Today, the Eurovision song contest is one of the longest running and most watched events in the world, however its success is not accidental.

Eurovision started back in the 50’s with an idea to use an emerging new medium, television, to unite post-war Europe around the universal language of music. The genius and the difficulty lay in uniting each country’s major broadcaster (ie. major influencer) – which the Eurovision founding team managed to do.

Eurovision succeeded because it became the tribe leader who united other tribe leaders.

Today, the same opportunity, in our emerging new connection medium, is still wide open in (almost) every niche of niche.
