Over the years, we’ve been so single mindedly focused on advertising others, we practically never stop to advertise ourselves – but we figured that Ten years is definitely a milestone worth pausing for, reflecting on and celebrating!
So we’re collating our Top Ten lessons that we’ve learned from Ten Years of converting potential online for some of Australia’s leading Brands.
Not unlike a lot of businesses, albumworks has traffic peaks based on seasonal gifting periods.

The problem that we faced was that there was a very large gap between two particular seasonal periods that was proving challenging to bridge with regular promotions.
Realising we needed to think differently about this problem, in scoping out possibilities with the client, we realised that founding month of the Brand actually fell within this period, so this formed the seed of a new month long Birthday celebration that also gave us a chance to invite customers to submit their own user generated stories via social media – a welcome change rather than trying to push yet another sale.
The initial Birthday celebration proved so strong that it is now a part of the annual calendar and has become a very important sales ‘flagpole’ that successfully bridges the sales gap by ‘Inventing our Event’.
For our 10th birthday, Intentional has been celebrating what can be achieved in Ten Years. We’ve collated our top ten lessons from ten years working with some of Australia’s leading brands.
What about you? What can you see happening in the next ten years?
What will you do #InTen?
