Although we have worked alongside Data Runs Deep with a number of shared clients over the years, perhaps the biggest lesson we have learned from them has come from outside our working relationship …
Data Runs Deep don’t make a big noise about this, but (in addition to doing exceptional work) they have been the driving force behind the Melbourne Chapters of both the Web Analytics Wednesday Meetup and Measurecamp Events.
In fact, we first met Data Runs Deep from the very early days of the Web Analytics Wednesday meetup back in 2013 – and have participated in and contributed to various Meetups since.

The value in bringing the Melbourne Analytics community together is incalculable – we certainly have learned so much from each meetup which ultimately always finds its way back to our client accounts.
But more than that, the community that has been built has resulted in some long lasting relationships – which became especially important as we each rallied together to help our clients pivot in 2020 as COVID-19 brought both the offline and online world the greatest challenge we had faced in recent years.
As any event organiser knows, herding people is hard! In all the ways we have seen, both little and big, we love how Data Runs Deep keep giving back to this industry – and starting with our 10th Birthday Event, we’re hoping to emulate in our own small way.
